    A bad boy

Gryfn was a bad boy on the weekend....

He was running through the house and hit the front flyscreen door at 100 mph, which of course hadn't been latched properly by one of the kids.... and out he went!!!!

DH went straight after him and he didn't get very far... I think he was more surprised than anything.

So now he spends his time sitting at the front flyscreen door waiting for his next chance for freedom...

He must have had quite a suprise when he got through. Glad he didn't go far. We fitted a cat flap for Simba at the weekend - didn't take him long to get the hang of it but because it has a strong magnet he tends to thump it open with his front paws. I keep it locked when I can't be with him and so it doesn't usually get open until I get back with the dogs in the morning. This morning he tried to follow me and went running up to his cat flap thumped it with his front paws and found it wouldn't open. He got quite cross with it but gave up and went to the window to watch me go. I think he is quite confused as to why sometimes it opens and other times it doesn't as when I got back this morning and I was out in the garden I opened it and he just watched me through the window so I had to come in and show him it was open. I'm hoping he will learn the routine that it won't open until I'm back with the dogs and when I'm not out there. They say they're clever cats though so I'm confident he will.
