Thread: i think my maine is underweight

If he won't eat anymore he is getting enough food, their weight can vary & very often it it depends on their breed lines, I have a three year old boy who doesn't weigh much more than that, if he feels good, looks good & is happy then he is fine, you could always just give his breeder a ring if you are worried as they will know best what weight you should expect him to be ,perhaps rather than putting more in his bowl just try him with a small top up feed at a different time of the day......
