Just came across this post and was wondering if you managed to choose a suitable cat tre/scratching post yet? I had also looked at the Alicante but ruled it out.
I'm pleased with the "La Digue" (apart from the cathouse which will probably be too small in a few months) but there are lots of scratching posts on it! I guess the proof of the pudding will be if Winston likes it
