Thread: Is my MC (male) kitten a tortie/patched?

Thanks for the response. We adopted the kitty intact so was hoping to have some offsprings, just to keep the family company with cats, not interested in showing or selling. We have actually found his partner, a black silver mackerel tabby (father is black smoke and mother is red mackerel tabby) who is a month younger than he is, will probably check her out again soon to see her progress.

Just out of curiosity is tarnishing undesirable in show cats? I have read various views on that.

Tarnish can mark the cats down at shows all depends on how bad it is....
My boy as a kitten showing tarnish & as an adult, luckily tarnish only mentioned in younger show days & he went to the top in one of the registrations.....
