Yeah the vet said if we had brought him in with the hernia alone he would have said it wasn't necessary to put him through an op as generally umbilical hernias don't cause too many problems, but as he was going under for the neutering he said it was our call, so we decided to have it done. The poor little man has a bare belly and between his shoulder blades he has greasy fur I guess it's the cream they use before they put the needle in ??
