Anyone had an MC from Majesticoon breeder in UK?

    Hi there,

I am going to be getting 2 MC's from a breeder in West Sussex called Majesticoon and was just wondering if anyone else on here had gotten an MC from there too?

I have visited them and am very happy with what I saw and had a long chat with the breeder but am just curious to see if anyone has also got an MC from here to see how they are getting on with the cat etc?

    Thanks.

First of all, congratulations on your new Maine Coons! We will be picking up our Majesticoon in thirteen days and could not be more excited. We also have taken the time to meet with Lucille and Larry and were very pleased by what we saw. One of the things we used to select Majesticoon as our breeder was their Facebook page. Perhaps you should take a look as many of their current and previous customers post there.

Please do not hesitate to save me a PM with any further questions you may have.

    Hi Tweet,

Haven't got my MCs yet unfortunately, got to wait till Feb next year for that :-(

But congrats on getting your MC, and can't wait to see your posts about it :-) Especially interested how ur MC settles in.

I have also read the feedback from majesticoons previous customers and I am more than happy with them, but it's great if you can chat with someone who has or is getting an MC from them!

I'll be sure to post and let you know! Roll on, next Thursday!

We've just had another batch of photos from the breeders (That'll be three batches of photos since selecting Pyg), and a lovely email telling us about his development. So far, so good.

I bought a mc from majesticoon when Anita owned it. They claimed they tested their cats for HCM which is why I went to them. They also claimed the kittens were well handled. My kitten had been kept in a cage from birth and had no handling. She was filthy and terrified. I should have walked away but wanted to get her out of there! As a result I had her tested myself and she is positive for the HCM gene. Hopefully the new owners do things very differently now as they are beautiful cats.

To be fair to Majesticoon, if this was when Anita was ill with Cancer I belive, then things did deteriorate and from what I could see the cats were in very good condition etc when I went to see them. I will also be going down to see the kittens when they are born so will obvisouly see the conditions again.

I understand that this is a very old thread but wanted to see if the posters are still around and how their experience was with this breeder.
