Well the food bowls went up at ten last night for the pre op fast, two very confused kittens this morning!!

I am really glad I can not speak MC as I am sure it's gone past wheres my breakfast now to something far worse!

The vets have just called, all has gone well and they are just coming round. They have been chipped too while they were under too (half price offer this month!).

I can pick them up after half three so I will change the habbit of a lifetime and be on time for once!!

    The day has come.

Bless them, bet you have been more upset than them though....Give a cuddle from me as well when you get them home.
I hate it when mine are done because I take them up to work with me & I then face the problem of do I want to be with them while they have their ops or hand over to someone else to be their nurse,I think the boss is happier if I hand over because he hasn't got a quivering mess on his hands but then if I do they need headache tablets as I go round doing everything loud so I can't hear in case something goes wrong, what a dilema !

Ohhh yeah, I don't know whether that's an advantage or a disadvantage really. I think on the whole it must be an advantage to be a vet nurse, certainly a job I would love to have done, but oooh then again.............

Glad to hear all went well with the op Helen and John, got a feeling they will be two very spoilt little kitties tonight ;)

They are home and fine, I think my day was far worse that theres!!! And yes I would have stayed with them if I could have.

You would not think they had had anything done, the only clue is the bald patches I knew their coats were thick but did not realise just how thick until their legs and Roxys side showed just how thick it is, my poor little girl has a great big bald patch on her side!

After the inital bowl full of food went in record time they have gone into play mode

The nurse who discharged them said that only Roxy needs to checked in ten days time but to bring both as they are used to being together.

    The day has come.

Bet play mode will soon change to sleep mode, they always seem to think nothing has been done but once they settle for a while then things tend to catch up with them...
    Wait for those Zzzz'ss
