And that Mollyanna, also bought from the same breeder and is likewise having issues?

Just trying to make sure I'm clear on whats happened/and who's who...
You are very right indeed... Scoonie is Suzanne Zech AKA Zecoona Mainecoons AKA as Razzle Dazzle Mainecoons

She is also the woman that I took to court she kept my cats for 7 and a half months bred off one of them and I had to get the bailiffs to go in and get them out!!

I designed her first website.. she was a client.

She was importing a cat from abroad the Netherlands and was a little confused.. I helped with the rabies information etc, We got to talking and we actually became quite friendly.
Long story short.. our Boy Jet was totally depressed no girls, Athene and diti his girls would not let him near them... it was either neuter him or find him some girls. After paying almost 2 grand for him I was not about to do that!!

I asked Her for help as I had never bought an adult girl before.. So really did not have a clue where to look... I was coming to the UK anyway for a Somali... so kill two birds so to speak

She pointed me in the direction of kittens link or pets for home.. I found the girls.

The seller was happy with me etc etc , and agreed to keep them while they had the 3 weeks quarantine for shipment to Germany... But she wanted them out when this was over this would have been 31st of December and this was not possible. A rag doll friend of mine offered to have them but admitted she knew nothing about mainecoons, this was my 16 year old daughters savings.. so I and she did not wish to take a risk. I asked Zech. she agreed and it was basically at first I pick up her Dutch boy bring him to the UK pick up my girls.. thats how it originally started.... a You scratch my back I scratch yours...

She was basically my agent.....(I do have all the emails of PROOF that this is how it all happened... PRODUCED in court also as evidence As Mrs Zechs version changed many times..)

The only thing that changed is the you scratch my back bit... Kitty the Dutch Breeder wanted to meet Zech in person so she was coming over with my cats and I was meet her in Rotterdam...

Then Christine Smith of Goldkrystals, tigerstars Adorabella stepped in and sent the email from Hell... which Shocked me, Kitty, and basically every one who read it...

I do this for other breeders in the UK I currently have a cat here that has come from Prague, he is going to live in the UK the breeder can not keep him as he is a male.. he lives with us.. I take them for their blood tests etc keep them here for the 6 months or so then bring them to the UK... or they come to me... these is a lot more to the story... but you don't need an essay!! I am sure!!

    Part two

She also had a nice black silver kitten female, I had seen her when she sent a photo of her to put on her website..

This kitten turned out to have major squits.... which she did not tell me about and she wanted £700.00 plus for this baby.

I pulled out of the kitten when I was told by Smith about this diarrhea problem and I then confronted Zech... who admitted she had a big problem with it and all her kittens where very sick indeed...

I even offered her help and advised her what to do, how to feed... When I pulled out of this kitten she had to pull out of the Dutch boy she had paid £500.00 deposit on but there was still well over £1,000 to find and there was the travel there etc etc...

    Then it got nasty!!
    And not from me...

You could be right.. either way you have to ask your self why is she breeding..

She lost 6 adult cats in 2008/9 all under the age of 5..

This year she has admitted to loosing more kittens than she has sold and the same last year..

No one would think the worst of you if you hold up your hand admit you have a problem clean up your act and start again... Apologize to people give them their money back..

But NO she goes on regardless... This just compounds what the problem is...

The only one that suffers is the poor cats... their kittens... and the General Public when they buy any badly bred, sick kittens.. Then the breeders..

I will give you a prime example of how this affects breeders.. the British Shorthair cat on the whole in the UK is clean and clear from HCM...

The Dutch and some German lines where full of it.. Cats died very young etc etc they did nothing... didn't tell anyone and basically the pet owners suffered loosing their beloved pets at under 2 years of age...

Some breeders are leading the way in clearing this disease from the lines.. You have to produce the test results to use your boy at stud a copy to the new owners etc etc..

Getting to the part of the knock on effect... I have sold my babies to many of these Dutch owners that have lost kittens... Its honestly like being taken to Court... HIGH court, the questions, the mistrust, the demands etc etc... In one way its good shows they are doing their homework.... BUT why should they have had to taken this route?

Quite simply because of Irresponsible breeders... thats all..
