You could be right.. either way you have to ask your self why is she breeding..

She lost 6 adult cats in 2008/9 all under the age of 5..

This year she has admitted to loosing more kittens than she has sold and the same last year..

No one would think the worst of you if you hold up your hand admit you have a problem clean up your act and start again... Apologize to people give them their money back..

But NO she goes on regardless... This just compounds what the problem is...

The only one that suffers is the poor cats... their kittens... and the General Public when they buy any badly bred, sick kittens.. Then the breeders..

I will give you a prime example of how this affects breeders.. the British Shorthair cat on the whole in the UK is clean and clear from HCM...

The Dutch and some German lines where full of it.. Cats died very young etc etc they did nothing... didn't tell anyone and basically the pet owners suffered loosing their beloved pets at under 2 years of age...

Some breeders are leading the way in clearing this disease from the lines.. You have to produce the test results to use your boy at stud a copy to the new owners etc etc..

Getting to the part of the knock on effect... I have sold my babies to many of these Dutch owners that have lost kittens... Its honestly like being taken to Court... HIGH court, the questions, the mistrust, the demands etc etc... In one way its good shows they are doing their homework.... BUT why should they have had to taken this route?

Quite simply because of Irresponsible breeders... thats all..
