That is fantastic news, you must be ever so relieved.
Over here it's not so much the size of the poos that surprises me, but the amount and number of pees. Particularly since they eat mostly wet food now... I've finally managed to get them all to eat ground raw food (the 'barf' type) which has no indigestible stuff like grain husks. The poos have diminished in size and number, but the pees make clumps the size of tennis balls!

We used to have three 'Jumbo' trays - two rectangular ones underneath the cellar stair and one triangular one on the 1st floor landing. But one downstairs tray always remained unused, so we got rid of that one. For our three furries the two trays are sufficient, as long as there's enough 'grit' (as it's called over here) for them to dig around in. I use an entire 15 kg bag for the rectangular tray and about a 3/4 bag for the triangular one, scoop once or twice daily, and refresh the lot once a week.
So far, there have never been any 'accidents', except for one time when Tatja sat down in the upstairs tray, facing inside with her bum still outside over the rim. There was a neat but very smelly little package on the plastic mat in front of the tray.
