Thread: Neutered MC kitten often pees at the shoerack although he uses his litterbox

I'm no expert but I believe that cats do have accidents when they are stressed. I'd say the more recent pees and poos are probably due to the changes that have been made (being shut out of rooms he normally spends time in etc). It's also worth reflecting on whether there have been any other changes recently, have you been away, has someone else moved in or out, has there been a change in the environment? If there's a possibility it's stress related you could try some Feliway

Is he still using his litter tray at the moment or is he using it less? Would it be possible to put a tray in the bathroom?

On top of that just be sure to clean all soiled areas well.
