    I would definately limit the amount of litter you put in so that they don't end up sinking - I normally put it in about 2cm deep so they can have a good scratch about but not bury a body in there.

    As for the soft poo, kittens can be quite prone to that. As long as it isn't lots of times during one day and it doesn't become runny then it probably is just dietary.
