As it warms up you'll start to find little piles of hair around....

I might be a few days late with this...

lol, nice one ! Harry seems to shed all year round, I regularly brush him and that keeps it down a bit but wearing black (which I do quite a lot) is a nightmare !

What's more amazing is that it's two different hair piles taken about two weeks apart...

I knew someone with a Samoyed who collected the vast quantity of shed hair that that dog produced, spun it into yarn and knitted things from it.

All I can say is that it was a long way from Cashmere...

With MCs, Dyson is my friend...

Good grief Claudel!! Is that the result of the furminator thingy you have there? I'm now 'dreadin' the shreddin' . I recently bought a furminator lookalike called a Furbuster from TK Maxx for £5.99 - thought I'd give that a go if things get a little hairy. I'm now having second thoughts!!

Yeah, I used the Furminator on MC Bubba (RIP) twice about two weeks apart...

He had an amazing amount of hair to begin with. When I got him from the pound he looked as if he'd never
been brushed and I had to have his belly shaved to get rid of the incredibly dense mats he'd grown.

It definitely got rid of a lot of hair, but I didn't like the way it left his coat so I quit using it after that.

OTOH, MC Elvis absolutely loves the brush and I give him a going over every day or so which keeps the loose hair to a minimum.

I have to trim the occasional small mat out of the thick parts, and it definitely is something I'd be more careful about if there was
an intention to show him but his shedding is nothing that the Dyson can't cope with.

I see more loose hair around the house from Coco the Calico shorthair than from Elvis but I can't catch her to brush her and I'd need armor anyway....

Furminators are addictive!! Hectors tail will tell you that at the moment - oops It was either that or my hoover would die from the moult.

My friend had borrowed mine to do her collie and so I sent her a picture of what I had got off Hector and the reply was thats more than she had got off Belle!!

The Furbuster is still in the box, I was a bit worried that it may be addictive and may de-fur too much! But at the price in TK Maxx I thought I'd give it a go. When I actually get brave enough and open the box I guess I'll find out
