Thread: Jones does not understand blankets!

Hilarious as it is to watch Jones in his sometimes trial and error stylings when it comes to mental development, he has picked up an annoying habit over the last few weeks.

He seems to have no concept that once I am under a blanket, the big, person shaped mound is actually my body, not some amazing new thing which he must attempt to dig up or fight with.

Or does he?

This seems to happen every morning at about 5:00-5:30. Is this just his way of trying to get some attention / get me out of bed to do his bidding and make his brekkie? I haven't given in yet, but he seems fairly relentless. I have tried escalating his reprisals from the stern 'no, to no plus removal from the bed, to finally a no followed by a visit from mr water bottle. However he always comes back to the scene of the crime minutes later to continue the digging/attack of whichever covered appendage took his fancy. This then continues until I actually get up for work at 6:30.

I have also just tried ignoring him, however this seemed to have exactly the same effect as trying telling him off, he will eventually give up for a few minutes before returning to wreak havoc.

As a man I fear that one morning I shall be awoken by him pouncing on my unmentionables!
