    Litter Recommendations?

We're having a bit of a dilemma with our litter situation. We are currently using Catsan as that's what the breeder used but Dave complains a lot that it's not absorbing the smell of Teddy's number 2s very well. We've got a pretty big tray so we need quite a bit of litter to fill it (if we put in too little, Teddy scrapes it all into one corner and wees on the plastic for some reason!) and we can only get the little bags of Catsan from the pet shop next door (we have bought bigger bags from ASDA too though). The most recent little bag I bought on Wednesday is now almost empty.

Dave changes all the litter and I clean the tray thoroughly every 2/3 days - is this too often or not enough? It just seems as though we're getting through so much litter!

When Teddy does a poo it's always removed quickly and thrown out. Then I spray some oust/febreeze and from my point of view, I don't find that there's a smell after that.

Sorry this post is totally incoherent! Basically I think we're getting through too much litter and Dave thinks the litter isn't good enough at absorbing poo smells (I don't completely agree with this though and I think this explains why we're getting through so much litter - because he wants to change the whole thing so often!)

So I was wondering, what do you guys use? We need something that's easy to get a hold of (preferably in a shop but online is okay too as long as we can get it in big quantities I guess!).

I'm a bit worried that Teddy won't be a fan of the change either :/ Have any of you changed the type of litter you've used and had problems?

    Any advice much appreciated!
