Thread: Maine Coon refused his worming meds!!

When I picked up Winston from the breeder she gave me a syringe with 3 shots of worming liquid that had to be given to him over 3 days.

On Sat I gave him his first dose into his mouth. Hubby held him and I administered the dose with a little hesitation he managed to take it. However on Sunday when I had to give him his second dose he refused. I persisted and the dose ended up flying across the room

So to make along story short he did not get the second and third dose he was supposed to get. What should I do now? I have been thinking it may be time to visit my local vet anyhow to get him checked over.
Would it be better for him to be wormed in tablet form?
