Welly is our growler & has been known to frighten people with it,feathers are the main cause be it on the end of a play stick or an "ejected"bird one out in the garden,all the others stay back from him because if they get too close the noise he makes deafens you,will admit the first time I heard him I was a bit worried about approaching him but luckily it is all noise no action & he is quite happy to roll over a let you tickle his tum while doing it,adds another dimension to the noise effects though.The one thing we have noticed about Welly is he doesn't purr,was a thread on here once about the lost purr but up until now he has never had one,he talks to you a lot & his voice is so deep that it sounds as if it comes from his "Boots"but no purrs,perhaps one day Wellyntonboots will find it but in the meantime we will make the most of his other sounds.....
