Thanx all, feel so much better now knowing its normal to be this loud, will be sleeping with iPod on more easily now. It drowns out the noise but cant resist the opportunity for a cuddle xxxx

Jools is probably the loudest snorer i've ever heard (human and animal) He lies on his back with his feet in the air and his mouth wide open snoring like a drain. I've had to turn the volume up on the tv to drown it out sometimes lol

I snore enough to drown out fire engines. I worry more about my boys being deafened... but yeah, my old cat George used to snore and the boys are well one the way to snoring (occasional snores now and again).
