Ha! Ha! When I go to the vet and he weighs Riley, he just laughs! 9kg and I struggle to lift him up (he's 4 - Riley not the vet!). In contrast my other 4 year old boy is only about 5kg but very active so just doesn't really put weight on. They all vary. Does she look a healthy weight to you? Don't forget she's still growing and will probably continue to grow for a while yet

Sorry don't know why that posted itself twice!

    Hi Laura,
Interesting to read your post. I'm a new Maine Coon owner - and have an 8 month old boy. He eats so much, and in between meals is forever searching for his food box. Although he's a month younger than yours he's already 6.8 KG. I'm wondering whether that's too much for his age. But it is so difficult to gauge whether he's still growing in size or simply becoming plumper. Another question for the vet..

I don't know for sure what she weighed at 9 months, but Roxy was 8.5 pounds at 8 months. I think she maybe was 9 pounds at 9 months?
