    Switching to Adult Food

    Hi All,

Long time no post :-) Hope everyone is doing well and all the fluffies are happy and healthy!

My two gorgeous fluffies are now getting so big!! Moshi now weighs in at just over 7kgs and Moto is not far behind her at 6.4, even though he's five months younger than she is! I think he's going to be huge as he still has paws like plates!

Anyway, my question is they're still currently on Science Kitten and I was wondering at what age do people move them off kitten and onto adult?

I think that perhaps it's time for Moshi, as she's coming up to 14 months now, but bearing in mind they do everything together, I won't be able to move her and not move Moto too. Is he too young to switch just yet?

    Ta!

I use grain free cat food that is "for all life stages" so they don't need to switch as adults. If you switch to an all life stages food you could switch them both.

Hiya, Rasputin's around 10 months now and I've ordered Royal Canin MC adult for him... So when he runs out of the kitten stuff (probably in about 3 or 4 weeks) we'll move him over. I don't reckon it makes a massive difference and the adult MC kibble is bigger so hopefully he won't be able to swallow it whole!

Well I've moved them both over and they are loving the big kibble! Hearing them crunch is great :-) I had issues with Moshi swallowing the kitten whole and then bringing it back up and she hasn't done that all week. Bonus also seems to be that they've moved over without any stomach issues!

I'm keeping an eye on Moto, just to make sure they're not too big for him (even though his mouth is bigger than hers!). He seems to be doing just fine. I couldn't believe that they were that much bigger until I got them ... check out the size! Hehehe!

I'm one happy bunny :-)) Good luck with Rasputin!
