I hope Pouncy responds super fast to the antibiotics and he is soon back to normal. What an anxious time this must be for you x

I agree with all here! You can NOT be too cautious with these guys. They turn the corner so quickly! We've had problems with Dakota off-and-on since we got him. He's had upper resp infections and food allergies several times. MCs are so expressive -- you know when something is NOT right. Glad your vet is concerned with the way you were treated (and I'm appalled myself).
We hope Pouncy is feeling "pouncy" again soon!

URI are very common. So the meds should help Pouncy to feel better soon. Our guy had a temp of 105 when we got him. The meds cleared him up right away. That was 4 months ago and he's doing great.

Bless him & would have been feeling better even quicker if the other vet had given him something, hope when your vet gets in touch with them they have the decency to give you a part refund as a goodwill gesture, when that sort of thing happens it makes you wary about having to use them again. May Pouncy's bounce carry on improving...x

Glad to hear he's doing better. It is so heart-rending to see them suddenly go poorly.

Glad to hear that he got the proper treatment and that he is getting better.
It sucks to go to a emergency, tell you nothing is wrong or do very little to help and take your money. It really irks me that these supposely 'vets' can do this. I could go on but I won't, it makes my blood boil.
Lots of healthy dust sent to Pouncy!
