Thread: Hairballs?

When one of mine has hairballs & vomits them up it really knocks him out for two to three days but as long as they are still going the other way,even if its runny,phew,then its not causing any blockages. I give mine the RC hairball & it doesn't eliminate them but does seem to knit them together & make them easier to get rid of,my daughter uses the equivalant of Katalax & has good results with that.At any time when they change coats they are more susceptible to the jolly things,I know when one of mine starts the others will follow but they can never do it all at once so its spread over a period of several days,the one thing I do though after grooming them when there is a lot of loose hair is just rub down with a bit of damp kitchen roll,surprising how much comes off & all of that would have been licked & ingested by the cat in their clean up....x
