    Rear legs

Hi, my name is Dorien and am the proud owner of Casper, my 2 year old Maine coon. The first one i've ever owned and I must say he is gorgeous. I am asking for some advise about his hind legs. He seems to be quite knock kneed and his legs and paws seem to splay outwards. Is this normal for the Maine coon?

Hello Dorien, welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your worries about Casper's hind legs. Didn't the breeder and/or vet ever mention anything about it?

Hi & welcome to you both, your Casper sounds exactly like my Merlyn, when you watch him from the back I have always said he looks cow hocked & when he runs he looks so odd with his hocks knocking together & his back paws splayed out, very ungainly & very heavy footed but haves you in fits bless him,he is now 8yrs old no leg or hip problems but still looking even more cow hocked & flat footed when he runs.....x
