I agree it sounds good that Chelsea is standing her ground.
I would also say that cats need to sort out a pecking order although it's not always the way we want it to be. At least if all that Boo is doing is hissing and spitting, there is no real fighting and I would be hopeful that things would eventually resolve themselves - although trying to keep them apart may only aggravate the situation. Not actually being there it's hard to be sure, but the hissing etc. is fairly natural behaviour and cornering either cat to spray water will just add to the stress and anxiety both cats are feeling. I assume Boo is about 5 years or more from what you say - so perhaps she's just being a crabby lady irritated and anxious about a pouncy kitten.Visit us at www.longwalkclark.co.uk
