Can understand caternity leave being worried as to why you have a babe that young,a MC from a reputable breeder should be 12 to 13 weeks & already vaccinated. Because unfortunately a lot of breeders are being let down by people not having their pets neutered as their agreement/contract states they are having their kittens done before leaving them, there are vets that will do it,I think its a shame as it is a lot for the babe to go through either one of the two things on their own is enough for them to take, vaccinations is one thing but then a GA on top is really knocking them but can understand the reasoning behind & it does stop people taking advantage.
There are other threads on here re age of neutering, six months is a good starting point & if testicle is still undescended by then chances are it won't come down & can be removed at same time of castration, did the "breeder" inform you there was only one testicle present when you bought babe as that op could you considerably more to be done....Last edited by jckkerrison; 11th September 2012 at 10:48 PM.
