Moe - Our New Rescue Kitten - Part Maine Coon???

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and the proud "Grandma" to Moe the BiG Kitten. Moe was rescued from our friend's Black Angus farm in Northwest NJ. He was underweight, full of ear mites, worms, fleas, etc. We got him in late July/Early August and he is very healthy and happy now.

We think he is part Maine Coon...

    Physical features:

He is BIG! Letter M between his eyes; furry ear points, fluff between his toes ( a LOT of fluff); 5 toes in front, 4 in back; belly fur that NEVER looks neat no matter how much brushing/combing; the biggest, fluffiest tail I've ever seen on a cat. I swear it's bigger than him (and he's very, very proud of this tail).

Personality: He supervises everything I do, litter cleaning, housework, etc.; he LOVES the toilet-YUCK! very playful, very, very affectionate; likes to lay on his back when you pick him up and stretch out fully extending arms and legs; loves to be cuddled on his back like a baby. Loves to play whenever not being cuddled (and even when cuddled). He NEVER plays with his claws, will only bite lightly; he has trained our 95 pound lab to allow him to go first, and to allow him to eat/drink out of his bowls.

Whether or not he is part/all/none MC we are in love. He has brought new life to our Orange Kitty. My husband is also in love with him (not really into cats) because he's never seen a cat with such an amazing personality. He is such a great kitten....sigh...

I have some pix, whatcha think????

Here's a Link to a little photo album on Flickr. The Child in the pic is Moe's "Mama"
