Thread: It's been a while.

Welcome back! Buzz and Baxter do not like to have their nails clipped by us either. It's baffling as they are happy to let us hold and play with their big, furry lovable paws. We have resorted to a monthly trip to the groomers. It takes her just a minute and they have never been anything but proper gentlemen. I think the groomer doesn't believe they are unruly, wiggling ruffians when we try clipping nails at home. Maybe they just enjoy a good manicure.

When OH gets the occasional scratch while playing, he stops playing immediately (usually because he's running to the medicine cabinet for a bandage). It doesn't happen as often now that OH has gotten better at reading when they are becoming over stimulated. The only time I get attacked is in bed. Buzz is a feet cat and stalks ours when they are under the covers and we are sleeping. A rude awakening for sure. Not sure how to stop that behavior but it's part of what makes Buzz special and so I have to admit we have not tried very hard. Best thing we can do is keep those claws trimmed.
