Can anyone please confirm our cat is a Coonie!

Hi am a newbie and hadn't even heard of a maine coon until today. I had been showing pictures of our Cat at work and most people just comment on how big he is but one said that's definitely a maine coon. We got him as a stray from a rescue home when he was about 2 years old and never got any information about him. I read on wiki and the description matches but am just after some confirmation from the experts! We had always worried that he was a big boy but now hopefully this confirms why. Thanks in advance. Can anyone please confirm our cat is a Connie!-2014-09-14-19.53.53.jpgClick image for larger version.

hi, I would take him to my Vet, he could get checked over and you would get the info you need.
I take my 3 cats for a flee treatment and once over on a monthly basis, they also get weight everytime.
