I have found as long as they have company & attention they are very good at adapting, from as early as you can take /him/her to visit & I can't see that you should have too many problems,when I only had two MC's they used to go stay with mum while we went on holiday & as soon as we left they let mum know which cupboard their treats were in thank you nan & adapted to their new routine......
