    Aging Maine Coon

Here's my question, has anyone with an older MC (Rocki's 10) noticed that as they get older, they're more vocal, and want more attention? Or is mine just broken?

    Hi Hellcat35,

Our male Smokey is 6 years old and has a soft feminine 'meow' for such a large cat! He can be very persistent vocally when he wants something...including attention! I think he has become a little more vocal as he has aged and earned his place under the watchful eye of our 9 year old Blue Point, who is the Patriarch and pack leader, so to speak.

You might want to make sure Rocki isn't vocalizing because of pain. I just love those BIG Maine Coon cats!
