    White vinegar would probably be best, but I generally use the cheapo value brown vinegar that you can get for about 15p a bottle.

    Just normal white vinegar mixed with water is great for accidents & you can get some Orange pure essential oil & that will stop them going looking but not the stuff you burn thats a no no for paws.

    Wow, so the ancient bottle of malt vinegar in the cupboard might do the trick! It's worth a try. The smell of vinegar would be preferable to the aforementioned.

    Clean with washing powder...
    Then lemon juice...
    Neat stuff ... soak the area with it... leave it a couple of hours.. then just wipe... I have an Abyssinian stud boy who spays... and the only way to neutralise's his pen is this... I also add some to his bedding...
