Ohhh I love black smoke as well!! They are not that rare to find, and one day I hope to own my own black smoke maine coon.
It's one of my favourite colours in Maine Coons, next to blue (tabby), black (tabby) and white. I know someone with a black smoke tortie with white Maine Coon and that coonie is absolutely gorgeous! So maybe that would be an option as well for the future, but with torties my problem usually is that I find it more difficult to find one to my liking...

This is one of my first Maine Coons - she was a tortie smoke and white....I would kill to get another girl with this colouring.

He is rather ravishing isn't he.... he is from a red and white boy to a black silver girl.

The ravishing ones are always boys... lol..

She's really cute - not usually a tortie fan (yes, realise the irony now I have a blue tortie tabby!) - her little white ruff and paws looks really good with her tortie markings.

I want one!!!!!!!! Its not fair. Hubbie has said no to cat number 4 but I am so desperate for a black smoke one might just have to appear as if by magic. Husband is such a softie that I know he will fall in love the second he sees it! Maybe a bit of gentle persuasion is called for.........

I like your thinking - I always manage to talk my hubby around and then manage to make him think it was his idea in the first place. If all else fails, they just appear as if by magic ad it's not like I can then send them back....!

Then do make sure to let him see a black smoke with golden eyes... if he's really the softie you say he is, he'll be wax in your hands (and in the kitty's paws).
