I did see a farting cat on an awful programme called 'pet shame' once! I'm trying to remember what they did to try and cure him.... Sorry that's not very helpful!
I'm a bit of a fan of pureed pumpkin to soothe dodgy bellies- might be worth a go? Just a couple of teaspoons in his normal food...
