Oh I remember the first time it happened, we had only had them for a couple of weeks and I could not believe that something so pungent could come out of something so small and cute, I emailed my tame vet the next morning and his response was oh yes it happens and they should grow out of it but not before they had done it a couple of times when you had visitors............and yes he was right! We had more than one race for the patio doors to get away from the stench but they seem to have stopped now (fingers crossed) Honestly it would strip paint

He eats every day some grass on the hills and now even the odor from "his toilet" is almost gone.

This gives me hope and make a bit of sense. Freyja - not prone to farting, and she's a grazer. Wicca seems to have a row of teeth inside her throat, which enables her to inhale her vast amounts of food rather than eat in the traditional sense, and her Trumpet Trousers flatulence is bad enough to consider looking for a Hazmat suit on eBay. It's only happened twice, and I pray to ANY deity that will have me that it doesn't happen again. Even she looked a bit perturbed by it - ears in aeroplane mode, slinking off to somewhere in the house with a higher oxygen content... So I'm encouraged that it might pass as she gets older. And bigger!

Hmm after feeling smug that we had not had any wiffs for a while, Hector has had a loose bum for a day or so and last night passed a cloud of fumes while sleeping on the stairs, I knew it was him as velcro sorry Roxy was on my lap. All I can say is like heat it rises and even though the stairs are open ones (we don't need a climbing frame lol) he was near the top, you could almost see the mushroom cloud
I just hope he does not do it again tonight as he is having a snooze on the sofa next to me at the moment he is having one of his lovey moments, bless he rolls over in his sleep to have his belly rubbed and purrs in his sleep.
