Coming back to answer your question, yes - today we've added one more to our family. A 10 week old pup that had been left in a bin :-( The person who found her and the rest of the litter wasn't in any position to look after them so we volunteered. She's been with us now a couple of hours and seems to be settling in quite well.

Hank is making me very proud of him and his tolerance and patience as he's been the only pet in the family he's been top cat around the house so I was concerned obviously how he'll react when there's another animal in his territory but he so far is being so placid and welcoming almost to the other animal it's great. Just shows Maine Coons have to be one of the finest family additions you can hope for. It goes without saying he's getting a lot of attention and fusses, including a crab stick or two

I have never worried either about having visiting canines in amoungst my lot, cats can get out of the way but have always found the noseyness of the MC soon outweighs any worrying they might do.
Are we soon going to be seeing a picture added to the "any other furry"file...?
