We are so lucky in that Kitten has shown no desire or apparent ability to be able to scale our fences. I think if he did we'd go for the lead and tether approach, but the idea of cat proofing the whole garden is brilliant, if a bit ambitious as it will allow your cats so much more freedom. Can't wait to see the photos.
