We started our 14 week old kitten on the litter kwitter as soon as he arrived in his new home last March 2010!
We moved too fast in the beginning and went back to the old stage and took it VERY SLOWLY...so slow, that in fact we are still on the green stage for now .We tried the last stage and it didn't work out too well so just went back again to green.
We are just happy that we don't have to use a litter box he gets up on the toilet and does his business with no smells etc......so all is well. Eventually we hope to have him fully trained!
Will try and upload a video to show his progress.

One bit of advise: This will really only work if you are free to keep an eye on kitty as he is being trained . If you work I could see this being very difficult for kitty and you. My husband and I work different shifts so there was always somebody on hand to "send" him to the bathroom
