I'd agree with Dave - neither of ours have what you'd describe as 'fresh' breath, and being awoken by a morning yawn can make your eyes water, but it's not especially or unusually bad. Just your average cat breath, so if Galena's got something a bit 'special' then a trip to the vets could be in order.

I looked at her teeth on one side but she would let me see the other. Her gums are a little pink and swollen appearing and she has very bad plaque, but nothing too bad looking.
