Thread: Cronavirus FIP - how do you decontaminate a house / do you need to

I can't say for sure that my home was exposed to the above but we had a Maine Coon from Suzanne Zech who had a couple of bouts of high temperature that were treated by antibiotics, then the last time he got hot he vanished before we could get him to the vet. He may have sadly gone off and died. I suspect he may have had cronavirus/FIP because of where he came from. If this was the case do I need to disinfect my house before introducing a new cat? How long should I wait? How would I go about it? Any help appreciated
