    Thanks everyone! She seems perfectly healthy and happy besides that. So I'll follow your advice and give her smaller portions a few times a day.

    As I'm sitting here she's laying on my arms trying to grab the cursor on the laptop

    My wife adds that she thinks what happens is the cats have eaten dry food and are full, but then they are so excited about the meat that they eat again when you put that down, so they end up overstuffing themselves (particularly when the dry food starts expanding).

    This is an excellent point too. Tell your wife thank you. Darcy is a grazer so it's very possible that she's been doing that too
