Rule of thumb is starve for 24hrs if they have the "shits" but still seem ok in themselves,we always quote boss on this one at work & he always reckons while you keep feeding the fire it won't go out, makes sense,so yep starve Walter then kick off with something light prepared as chef Peter suggests, little & often, build up to normal food again over two to three days, have to say I find the fish encourages them to eat sooner than fish, smell entices them to eat so fish obviously has that in bucket loads more than chicken, also is known that sometimes chicken can also cause upset tums in some animals,I had one,so can be doudle barrel trouble. If you do use fish & cook more than enough for one portion just slightly warm it up again before giving, brings smell out again, luv to Walter & hope he is soon back to norm...x
