    Happy Mother's Day!

I found a card on my desk "Happy Mother's Day". Who in the world would send this kind of a card to me who does not have children? My husband. He wrote "Thank you for being such a good Mom to us. Ariella and Anastasia." Below were two paw prints of our girls. It has been 1.5 years since we got our adorable MC, and I can not recall any instance of being irritated or dissapointed with them. Did your kitties ever dissapoint you? I don't count health problems or acute illnesses, lets share behavioral frustrations. I have none so far. Are all Maincoons like mine?

Looks as if you celebrate Mothers Day on a different date to us over here, had my day a few weeks ago, daughter wasn't here for the first time ever because of her move to the borders of Shropshie/Wales but the cats did "pay"for me to go out for lunch, gave up on treats & toys for a while as I understood it,they actually could have had a cat pen sale to have raised money selling some of the hundreds of toys they have got....!
I have never been dissapointed in any of them but frustrated yes,at China RIP for her time of inapporpriate urination,at Bruce for hissing at Merlyn when he arrived as he had been welcomed into the household by the then one furry feline resident,at Bruce & Merlyn for hissing at the two new babes when they arrived especially at Merl couldn't he remember what it was like to be a newcomer, still at Merl because although he accepts Welly he still hisses at Shimba unless he is trying to pinch his tit bits but wouldn't be without any one of them,I love my Sunday morning lie in with a cat purring & kissing either side of my face, another one laid flat against my side further down & opposite him another laying acroos my tum {all 10kg of him} & the last heavyweight one lays across my legs, they are all singing & cats choir doesn't come into it,good excuse though when the phone rings, sorry dear I can't get out to answer it,thats not a joke either....x
