Dot transormed from a tiny princess into real Queen. I was fascinated by the story from the very beginning, and now even more enjoy seeing pictures of her
and Raggles, since I am a big fan of black smokey colors. My Anastasia is in the same category of color and is more prone to matting with her very thin but numerous hairs. Do your smokeys get mats? Is there difference between Dot and Raggles coat ? My way of thinking is that the male cats may have thicker and straighter hairs that don't mat, but I may be wrong.
I think you should write and publish a small book about Dot's story.Or send this story to one of the cat's magazines. It will help your breeder with marketing.
She deserves more clients, and we need more breeders like her.

Hi Halcyon,
Raggles has very little trouble with his "smoke" coat.
Dot has a silver blue tabby standard "long hair" coat like the other 3 MC's we have and regardless of gender, the 4 of them have problems with matting.

Sadly I've tried to look at the link twice but my pc isn't playing, it sounds like a great story from the replies though. Raggles looks so regal - gorgeous!
