You're right - we haven't decorated the tree yet so that could be the time he decides it's a toy. Last night he just sat on the floor underneath it.

Absolutely LUV the Kenny Pic! We won't put up our tree until I'm home from work for the holidays (another week)! Not sure how long it will last, but I promise to post pics.

OMG! That is hilarious.
Luckily it was an artificial tree.
We got our tree into the stand yesterday letting it 'fall' before decorating it. Tiki sniffed around under the tree while I cleaned the needles up. So far so good.

What we did last year to try and save the tree worked a treat so we will do the same this year.
We wrapped up some catnip toys really well and placed them all around the tree. When the little monkeys decided to have a go at the decorations they got sidetracked by the presents. By the time they had finished rolling around on the floor trying to open them they had forgotten all about the tree.
It worked so well our tree remained untouched for the whole time it was up, and that's with 6 coonies around!
