Keep the tips of their claws clipped & when they start using furniture as a scratching post pick them up tell them no & put them to where they can,if you didn't have the scratch post when they first came you have already got to re educate them,having more than one post could help & even covered in a different fabric as they may like the feel of one more than the other to claw at.I don't think any furniture can ever be 100% safe when you have cats but hopefully it can be pretty near,good luck with your babes & photos please...
