Oh dear, that's awful news. Very sorry to hear that Claire. :-(
At least you know in her short time she was well looked after and made to feel happy.

can't believe I missed this thread earlier
Not sure what else to say, except, the ONLY bad thing about our beloved pets is having to say goodbye
