    Went searchin on the internet earlier after seeing basil do this since we got him. Glad to see its just another kitten / mc trait. Vets counldt find anything either.

    It also happens in humans and called benign nocturnal myoclonus. Does not require any treatment or investigation as long as it occurs during sleep, and not in awakened state. Some babies have it and grow out of it by age 3, others continue having it through adulthood.

    My Moe was doing this last night when falling asleep on my lap, one bag leg started trembling. Think its normal as he is still quite young.
