    Phew it was hot today....

I let the cats out of their pen after lunch & this is as far five of them got...
It took a little while for the fly chasing game to get started & even that didn't last long.
We are still all outside making the most of this lovely evening, have a good weekend everyone.

Phew yes boiling here in Sheffield as well. Mine have got the right idea though and retreat to the cellar, where it is really cool for them. There's an old armchair down there and a few boxes where they like to sleep.

The Criminals will still chase flies though, and they're getting quite good at it!

When it gets really hot - how do you help your MCs - apart from airconditioning, fresh water... do any of you get them clipped or get their underbelly fur shaved?

What a lovely picture, I do feel for them in this heat, Harry just wanders around the garden from bush to bush to find shade even though the house is much cooler he prefers to be outside. He's not eating very much at but doesn't appear to be drinking more than normal either.

.... so how hot did it get?

We're in the middle of winter here and its freezing... well freezing for me anyway... the nights are down to 5C and the days are about 15.... that's cold here... but probably not for you!
