My Big cats use the huge white storage boxes you get from Ikea... 10 euros they cost.. brilliant they have tiny little feet so they are not direct on the ground, and they clean if you do them every week fantastic... I have hooded ones for the house like kitchen bathroom, first basement... but all the rest have the white ones...
