Keep us posted, Debbie. Would be interesting to see how your Aby's take to it versus the MC's.
Going to have a go later, I am off to the store now for some more cotton do not want to be running out at the almost finished moment.. I have found loads of material in the attic I can make the cushion covers from.. I am going to make one for all the rooms... plus some for outside.. Not all today... mind..but as I go along I will show you them..

The abyssinians may not be as heavy as the coonies.. but they do a lot more damage... I am so glad I have concrete ceiling.. have to find the big hooks to to screw in the roof...

    Bye for now... x

    A must have

Am going to be watching this with great interest Debbie....
Will be no good mine hoping that I will make them one,I have made two pairs of curtains in 39 years, the first pair ended up with one longer than the other so I was very careful the next time to get the measurements right & guess what ? Daughter didn't even rely on me sewing labels into her school clothes !

Do I like it... yes do the cats? yes... will I make another one YES.. many... but I will make sure I do not double and triple sew the next time.. save on the needles.. and my heart when they snapped... lol

P.S. the pink marks are marker pen I did not have any tailors chalk... so I used the next best thing BRIGHT pink marker pen!!
Wow! Very impressive job! I wish I was that good at sewing.

I'd love to try out one of these things... but I have already brought so much cat furniture into the house that the Coonies didn't give a second look... I'm afraid hubby won't let me get one.

Wow, this is an inspiration! You could use 3 or 4 old cushions, and join them together with the fabric - not really a very long job. Now, where would I put it in our house? Or could I put it in the garden on a dry day? (Good idea Karen!)

This one is actually for outside, its my test model...( i just put it up in the lounge to see what it looked like...

I am going to make one that matches for in its place.when I can find the time! I have new cushions every year and covers.... so I always usually keep the old ones for the cats... its a great idea to use up old ones... and now I have made one it will get easier!! I hope...

Thank you the whole house is a jungle gym, though they still run behind the couch and remove the wallpaper, I have no idea why??? But I keep living in hope that they will leave it alone one day!! and play with their new cat toys!
